Rebranding

The color palette was strategically chosen to convey calm, security, and harmony, ensuring effective communication with this combination.

Los Alamos Mental Health is a project of Self Help Inc.
So to create the symbol for LAMH we incorporated an acorn from the Self Help logo, which replaces the frontal lobe of the human brain and marks the limbic system with a dotted line. This system is responsible for processing and developing emotions. The structures (also known as components) of the limbic system work together with other brain regions by processing your memory, thoughts and motivations, then tell your body how to respond.
Besides that, we took care to create a symbol that still resembles the previous one so as not to create a big break in the existing brand.

The illustrations are under construction, but you can have a close view here. We have incorporated light oranges and yellows, enhancing certain scenes in a warm and cozy manner.

Is a local representation; we have the mountains, the street lamps with flowers, some iconic buildings, and the typical animals.

People feel more represented by cartoon characters than by real photos.

Big companies such as Google and Facebook tend to use a similar drawing style for their marketing materials.

We know from previous experiences that the people of Los Alamos have a strong affinity for their town, and they are eager to share and purchase any materials featuring it.

The drawing is versatile and can be used on various items like T-shirts, books, posters, and digital materials.
